Battle Field Orders















1. Flamethrower
Used in surprise attacks by Germans, It scared English in first use. Helped clear frontlines
2. tank
Used more as shields and heavy weaponry. Put in first on battle field to clear the way for advancing infantry.
3. Machine Guns
Held In Defensive Position, took out hundreds of soldiers. Prevented Assaults. Mounted on about everything, and used heavily as Anti aircraft in France and Italy
4. Submarine
Used To Control Trade. Torpedo’s, and Land mines prevented harbors from allowing ships to leave.
5. Airplanes
Used in observation and basic Air fights. Sighted enemy trenches and used to help guide mortar Shells
6. Mortars
Used in Taking Out Sniper Posts, Cutting Barb Wire, machine gun posts, and to take out trenches


No Man’s Land… Land Between Trenches which no country occupies

Chemical Weapons were used by inhalation which caused problems to the lungs
Chlorine – Dissolves lung tissue
Phosgene – Fills lungs with water
Hydrogen Cyanide – blocks oxygen from reaching blood
Mustard Gas – liquid that is inhaled as like a gas

Red Baron Was A Credited German Aeroplane Ace in WWI, He is famous because he won 80 piloting Fights, and he died with a bullet to the heart/lungs

The Schlieffen Plan was a German tactic used to take control of three countries early in WWI, it was almost completed but the French used a Counter plan to stop them, with the help of Russian Recruits

The Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand Franz broke out WWI because It led Alliances of Austria to Go Against Alliances of Serbia, Eventually Building up to war due to lack of cooperation on finding/dealing with the assassins.

Helen Burrey was basically a female traveling nurse during war times. She saw cramp conditions, and most of the hardships of the injured people of war.


Pal Battalions is basically a set up so you get in the army with people you sign up with. I think this would be more affective than random set up because it allows people to at least have a little more morale when they join knowing they will have friends.
